Layered Valentine Cut Files

We’re getting close to crunch time for Valentine’s day, and I’m excited to release my newest design freebies!

Layered cardstock designs have been a favorite of mine since I began designing for Silhouette. But being that I have a houseful of boys, I do try not to make it -too- girly around here, even on the girliest of occasions! The fun thing about files like this, though, is that it’s entirely up to each person who cuts them what color scheme they use! So make it match your décor while bringing in the spirit of the holiday, or make it stand out. The choice is yours : )

I recorded a short video explaining how to use these files (Layered Cardstock Cut Files for Silhouette Cameo). I hope it’s helpful, and also that the two servers publish them at the same time- but if they don’t, I’ll let you guys know over Facebook when everything is live : )

I’m still new to some of this!

Once I have them all cut (and I forgot to mention this in the video) I use 3M Mounting Squares to assemble my finished project. I cut the small squares into halves or even fourths to spread them out- you just want to have some space between your layers for depth.

I hope you guys enjoy these files! I’ll have another new set of freebies for Valentine’s up soon, so come back soon!
